Quality of service indicators and complaint system (2004)

ANACOM decided, on 29 August, to grant a prior hearing to CTT  - Correios de Portugal on action taken by the latter following an audit to CTT's indicators of quality of service and complaint system for 2004. This action concerns the report on the results of the monitoring exercise on the levels of quality of service provided by the company in this year and determinations and recommendations for improvements in the monitoring system for indicators of quality of service and the complaint handling system.

Pursuant to the Basic Law for Postal Services (paragraph 7 of article 8 of Law no. 102/99, of 26 July) ANACOM must ensure, independently from the universal service provider (CTT), the monitoring of levels of quality of service actually provided, as well as the publication at least once a year of a report on the respective results. The action taken thus arises from the corresponding audit, awarded by ANACOM to KPMG within this context.
