By determination of 30 August 2012, ANACOM approved the final decision on new statistical indicators which mobile service providers are required to report to this Authority on a quarterly basis.
This decision takes into account the new demands of international organisations and the technological and commercial evolution occurring since 2009, when approval was given to the statistical indicators of mobile services (decision of 8 July 2009), as made a review of some of the current indicators necessary. This is the case in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and mobile broadband.
These new indicators come into force in 4th quarter 2012 and must be reported to ANACOM by 30 January 2013.
Approval was likewise given to the report on the prior hearing of interested parties, to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted subsequent to the determination of 28 June 2012.
