2017 ''Letter-writing'' Competition

/ Updated on 15.05.2017

"Imagine you are an advisor to the new UN Secretary-General: which world issue would you help him tackle first and how would you advise him to solve it?"

If you are between 9 and 15 years old, read the regulations and participate!

Write an original composition in the form of a letter, imagining that you are an adviser to the new UN Secretary-General, stating which world issue you would help him tackle first and the solution you would recommend.

Your participation is on an individual basis. The letter must be written in Portuguese and contain between 500 and 800 words. The deadline for receiving the letters is 3 March 2017.

The prize for the young winners in each group will be a tablet. If you participate in the context of an educational establishment, both the teacher and the school will also receive a prize: a collection of CTT prestige books and educational software, respectively.

One of the winners will represent Portugal in the international competition promoted by the Universal Postal Union in 2017, together with the representatives of the other member countries.

This initiative is promoted jointly by ANACOM and CTT - Correios de Portugal.
