The 7th European Regulatory Group meeting was held from 29 to 30 January 2004. The agenda covered several subjects, such as the recent European Commission initiatives on powerline communications (PLC) systems, leased lines, notices related to relevant markets within the scope of the new regulatory framework on electronic communications, international roaming and the ERG/Commission common position regarding corrective measures (?remedies?).
This meeting also studied the public consultation report prepared between July and September 2003, on the ERG/European Commission common position project regarding the Long Term Incremental Costs (FL-LRIC) charging model, the ERG having decided that this subject shall be discussed within the Independent Regulatory Group (IRG), which shall adopt the corresponding good practices implementation principles (PIB). The consultation report is available at Summary of the Responses on the ERG Consultation*.
