On 3 August 2022, ANACOM approved amendments to network radio licenses for the terrestrial electronic communications service held by MEO – Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), NOS Comunicações (NOS) and by Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais (Vodafone). The licences were amended to bring the respective validity dates into line with the expiry date of the rights of use of frequencies allocated to MEO, NOS and Vodafone in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2.6 GHz bands and the right of use of frequencies allocated to Vodafone in the 900 MHz band (9 March 2027).
