Results of the ''Letter-Writing Competition'' 2009


''Explain how decent working conditions can lead to a better life'' - this was the theme chosen for the ''Letter-Writing Competition'' 2009, organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and promoted in Portugal through a joint initiative of ANACOM and CTT - Correios  de Portugal. Launched in 2008, this year's competition was targeted at young people aged between 9 and 15 years, living in Portugal.

From the many competing letters received, the following winning participants were selected:

1st Category (9 - 11 years) - Luís Miguel Pereira Magalhães resident at Soalhães - Marco de Canaveses;

2nd Category (12- 15 years) - Daniela Tiago Matias resident at Ramada - Odivelas.

The winning from 1st Category will represent Portugal in the 2009 International Letter - Writing Competition for Young People, organized by the UPU.
