By determination of 2 October 2009, ANACOM has adopted a raft of measures connected to the new fees regime which has been in force since 1 January 2009 and resulted from Administrative Rule no 1473-B/2008 of 17 December.
Accordingly, approval was given to the following measures: the means for calculating the amount of costs incurred as a result of the regulation of the activity of supplier of electronic communications networks and services, under the terms of point b) of article 105 of Law no 5/2004 of 10 February; the immediate launch of an audit of suppliers of electronic communications networks and services which in 2008 posted relevant revenues of the highest values, and the others, to provide a sample; the immediate issue of all bills, with the exception of the annual fee due on the exercise of the activity of suppliers of electronic communications networks and services.
The billing process subsequently launched integrates the fees for the use of numbers, radio fees, fees for the exercise of the activity of postal services and fees for the exercise of the audiotext activity.
