/ Updated on 04.01.2007

As set out by Resolution 112, which was approved by the 2002 Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-02) in Marrakech, Morocco, and following on from past experiences in preparing successful Conferences of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), which assumes the WG ITU presidency, is carrying out an informal process or inter-regional coordination (RegOrg) to prepare PP-06. Four meetings have taken place since December 2005. These meeting work informally and bring together, along with the individual Administrations and Administrations that aren't included in the regional organisations, the six main regional telecommunications organisations: CEPT, African Telecommunication Union (ATU), Asia-Pacific Telecommunication (APT), Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL), League of Arab States (LAS) and the Regional Communications Committee (RCC). The fifth meeting is due to take place in Antalya, Turkey on 4 November prior to the Conference.
